We've Got The Whole World In Our Hands!!
Welcome to 3rd Grade! This year we will be exploring many things in Math, Science, Language Arts and Social Studies. I am excited for a fun filled year.
We will be learning about Change, Adaptations and Interdependence and how they are part of what we learn and do everyday. A big focus for the year will be how we can take care of our world and teach others what we learn. We will explore differences and similarities between us and people of other cultures.
Michigan studies will be our focus in Social Studies. Animals, energy, and earth's materials are some of the areas we will be exploring in Science. We will be researching and writing a research paper as well as continuing to practice the writing process in Language Arts. We will also be doing The Daily 5 to help us become star readers. In Math, some areas we will be expanding our sklls in are multiplication and division, measurement and fractions.
This year is going to be Fantastic, Fun and filled with lots and lots of learning!
